Account Manager/ Faculty/Director of CTI’s Organizational Business The Coaches Training Institute (CTI) 2013 – Present (5 yrs) Global Major Contributions: Doubled the number of Organizational clients by 50% in two-years and expanded CTI’s Organizational deliveries to world leading companies in varying industries of; Tech, Medical Device Services, Retail, Finance, Real-Estate, Utilities, Entertainment, Government, and Not-for-Profit(s). As Leader in Front, completed client relationship/contracts that did not meet new company vision of 100/100 partnership, while successfully landing deals with ideal clients, and ran P&L that exceeding sales target by 28% and grew the Gross Profit Margin by 6.8%. Defined the process and developed a pilot program for a scalable and profitable In-Direct sales channel through Faculty Partners to further spread CTI’s organizational trainings, with a Net Profit Margin of 80% and year-over-year revenue growth of 50% for two-consecutive years. Held relationship with key client contacts and delivered CTI’s organizational trainings to over 1,800 senior leaders and internal coaches over the past 4 years. Designed the Vision and outlined the strategic priorities for CTI’s organizational business for 3 years and achieved an internal victory of ensuring CTI’s organizational business is folded into CTI’s shared services model. Designed and piloted an Individual Leadership Development Plan (ILDP) system and structure with direct reports, that saw individuals achieving business unit and Org. goals in first quarter of use.

North America Established a North American consulting firm, working with leading companies such as; Stantec Engineering, BMO Harris Bank, McDonald’s Restaurants, AON Hewitt, Guy Carpenter, and start-ups like; Blink Media Works, 889 Yonge, East Bay Technology to custom design and deliver 1:1, team and organizational coaching and leadership development experiences, workshops and programs to embed high-performance, coaching cultures. In an effort to give back and make sense of some of her own childhood experiences, Christie has also consulted to Not-for-Profits; Ontario Mental Health Association, Hamilton Children’s Aid Society and Los Angeles’s Youth Probationary services, providing custom-designed, experiential workshops to heighten self-awareness, build self-compassion and leadership skills among the vulnerable youth of Ontario’s Foster-care system and Southern California’s juvenile detention centers.

Outlined the strategic priorities and trained the internal coaching team for over 1200 of the company leaders and 3000 middle managers to role program out across Canada that focused on teaching and coaching leaders how to better lead their teams, develop the growth of employees and achieve business results. Designed and coordinated the BMO annual conference which focused on leadership and coaching skill development. Trained the top company executives to apply coaching strategies to leadership roles. McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada LTDLocal Marketing Supervisor/Local Sales and Marketing Manager McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada LTD 2002-2008, 2013 Greater Toronto Area & Canada Major Contributions: Worked collaboratively with restaurant franchisees to introduce and implement effective marketing plans and strategies to increase customer participation, average cheque, traffic and raise profile of restaurants in local community. This included: Partnering with local businesses such as Shoppers Drug Mart and Toronto’s Gay Pride Parade committee to co-design and execute cross promotions. Led the marketing to raise significant funds for the Ronald McDonald Children’s Charity in conjunction with McHappy Day by getting local radio stations and public figures into the restaurant and creating community involvement and participation. Found her true calling and passion for coaching and leadership development through her own trials and tribulations of recruiting, training, developing and managing a team of community relations representatives responsible for executing local marketing programs, building community relations and increasing sales in ten markets across Ontario, Canada. Conducted professional development planning and performance review activities, including bi-monthly training and team-building workshops for McDonald’s Canada’s Ontario Community Relations team. Christie’s career path came full-circle in 2013 when she landed a contract working with her first leaders at McDonald's Restaurants Ltd. where she co-designed and delivered leadership development seminars for the Women's Leadership Network.
